Schedule

The next beginner class will start this Autumn. You can check back here or email rollyguitar@gmail.com to be put on a notification list.

The Autumn beginner class will probably be on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm. Registration will open in late summer. The one hour class will run weekly in 10 week sessions. Each 10 week session is $200. Some students will use the initial 10 week course as an introduction, and be content with that, while others will use it as a beginning, and continue, hopefully to become lifelong practitioners. Each class continues in 10 week increments until the 60 movement form has been completed. This usually takes about 5 ten week sessions.

Some beginning students express concern over occasionally missing a class. Please see the note at the bottom of this page concerning our teaching protocol.

Once the Autumn class is scheduled, you’ll be able to register with a Paypal link here. At that time, you may also pay by check.

If you to pay by check, it should be payable to “Rolly Brown” in the amount of $200 and sent to:

Registration is not complete until payment is rec’d.

We realize that life is busy, so my protocol is this:

Each posture is taught on two consecutive weeks: Every week, I review the previous week’s posture, and then teach a new posture. If you attend every class, you’re taught each posture twice. If you miss a class, you’re still taught that posture once.
In addition, each week, students receive access to a video walk-through of the form up through the then-current posture and a separate video which teaches the current posture and then walks you through it a couple times. In this way, missing an occasional class is not too detrimental. It’s only when you miss 2 or 3 in a row that it becomes a problem.
We would, of course, prefer that you attend all classes, but we do try to accommodate our students’ busy lives.
